Rourke McCall spent eleven years in jail for murder because of Cassidy's testimony so when he gets out he comes back to find out why and falls in love instead. Can they discover who really killed the victim or will the killer manage to take them out first? How will Rourke and his brothers and sister react when their long-dead mother comes to town?
This was the beginning of a series, I presume there'll be more about Asa and his wife in subsequent books if only as a secondary plot. I liked the love stories in this and the suspense.
