Aaron Under Construction by Marin Thomas, A. Romance, #1124, July 2006 (series: book 1- The McKade Brothers)
Maybe sometimes Aaron McKade took his family's wealth for granted and being the youngest McKade brother rode the coattails of his brothers. They seemed to always dismiss his ideas. But was that any reason for his grandfather to try and teach him responsibility by making him work construction by building houses in the barrio of south central L.A for 3 months. (another condition was that he not reveal his identity so he went by Aaron Smith) Jennifer Alvardo, the crew foreman, can bet this anglo has never worked construction before. Even though she becomes attracted to Aaron, she can't lower her guard with a man she couldn't trust. And Jennifer had learned that trust was the foundation in a relationship. And she couldn't forgive herself for her mother and brother's death.
I loved this book. It took Aaron going out of his comfort zone to realize the things he took for granted and that his company did nothing to help the community. So he started an internship so Jennifer wouldn't have to work so hard paying her brother's tuition or starting a foundation to pay for the house they were building after the money they had went missing. The getting back together part didn't take place a week later. It took time I think almost a year. It seemed more real. I liked Aaron's determination. Jennifer was weepy but stubborn and strong willed. This book also has some real funny moments with Aaron trying to fit into a world he has no knowledge of.

Sounds like a good read
This is one of those lines that I've liked almost every book I read in it. This sounds like a great read. Great review.

I'm reading about middle brother Nelson, Nelson in Command. The grandfather sends him to a dairy farm for his life lesson. Makes for some hilarious reading.
I like this line. The stories have great morals to them with a touch of humour.
