Sorry I am still way way way behind. Taken By the Millionaire story. Interesting twisted little tale, though I liked it better than I thought I would. I did not like the first chapter, but it really improved after that.

It is really exceptional after the first chapter. This is only my second of her books, but I now look for her.

If you love HUMOUR in a HP.... then you will love every book written by this lady! She's wonderful at blending a little bit of comedy in with her romances. I always feel so HAPPY reading a Susan Napier book! (As opposed to a few books I've read lately where the plot lines depressed me so much I cried and worried about the book days after I read it. I went a little mad reading 10 books as fast as I could after "Mistress Wife" by Lynne Graham, to get the bad taste that book left out of my head.)
I haven't disliked a SN book yet. So read any ones you can lay your hands on! (I just checked my list of books read, and recently I marked "The Sister Swap" by SN a keeper. It was absolutely hilarious. I choked on a tic tac reading it)

I am glad you recovered from the Tic Tac incident and have now added The Sister Swap to my wish list at my paperback exchange site. Thanks and I agree about the depressing stories....

The Sister Swap
Susan Napier
Harlequin Presents
She's a student, pretending to be her sister, and pretending to be the mum of her sister's baby. The hero is a professor who lives in the apartment beside the heroine. He meets her, she keeps the baby a secret, he finds out and wants her even though she's a mum, then he thinks she's sleeping with other men, and that drives him to sleep with her himself: surprise, she's a virgin and she ain't a mum! This was amazing! Hilarious! Great use of deception. I was laughing out loud while reading this book! I actually spit out a mint I had in my mouth at one point. Frigging hilarious. A cop thinks she's a prostitute on two different occasions, the hero hears groaning and sees a parade of male athletes coming in and out of her apartment (for massages), she deliberately makes his mom think they are lovers (because she thinks the mom is the hero's lover and is jealous!). Awesome book. Susan Napier is a queen of comedy in romance. Rating: 4.5/5 stars, this book was slightly dated (80s) but it was a KEEPER for me. Hilarious!
More books I recommend...
More books I recommend... if you're doing a paperback exchange and have the chance to get certain books, you should try to read the books on my Keeper List. These are la creme de la creme of the HPs (and Desire/Blazes) that I've read. Great fan favs of mine.

Thanks
Thanks for your list. I have read some of them. I am a non keeper totally of books. I can't reread any because I remember too much. My Dad and husband both reread...yuck...just can't do it...

I am a "non keeper"
I am a "non keeper" too.... I very very rarely go in for the reread. I have an iron clad memory too, so I find it hard to forget the plot of books when I'm rereading! That's why I dislike rereading.
BUT... When i read hundreds upon hundreds of books in a year... I like keeping track of the books I read and which ones I absolutely ADORED and want to exalt as gods among books. (ok i dramatize) But yeah... I like to be able to recommend books I 100% loved, so having that list means I can pass on good recs to my friends. And it keeps all the books from blurring in my head. And it reminds me of the books i adored and gives me the opportunity to go back to these books in a year or a few years and re-live the love (after I've had a chance to forget them a little or when I just need a read I KNOW will be wonderful)
