Katie MacAlister gives up two mythological stories with a wickedly funny twist. Stag Party - Cernunnos (Irish God of Fertility) is dumped by his long-time goddess. He has to come up with a bride by Beltane or cease to exist. How hard could it be for a hunk God to get himself hitched? This story made me laugh out loud.
In Norse Truly, Alrik and his men have been cursed to sail the same stretch of Scandinavian coastline forever. Brynna goes off the road and ends up in the ocean. (I can think of worse things than being rescued by a crew of Vikings.) Brynna is the only woman who can save them from the curse. And the adventure begins....
Great reading in the Katie MacAlister tradition.
