For some reason, I could not change my account details and started this one... I was helskat and I do not want to remove that ID yet as I am involved in the Book Challenge.
I will add books from this ID from now on.

Two ID's?
Eleni,
What sort of information were you trying to update? The fact that you now have TWO community memberships may present a problem.

Jayne and Eleni,
I changed my community ID sometime in March. What was strange, though, was that it didn't take right away. I went back in to change it again thinking that I hadn't clicked on the update button (or whatever button I should have clicked on) and the new ID was there. But it wasn't showing up on my posts or profile page and so on. I thought, well, maybe it needed an overnight systems thing to fully update. So I went on my merry little way. It didn't update the next day or even the next but one day I came in and there I was, "Penn" (no longer "Penn aka ftworthmom"). I guess that I should have mentioned it to Jayne at the time . . .
FWIW,

I've noticed that with some Profile changes ....
you have to "refresh" several times for it to take ... often actually closing out of your webrowser and then coming back and refreshing again ...
this was more to do with my avatar than anything else (and when we were tire kicking) but I think this may still be the case with some of the Profile changes
try refreshing and it that doesn't work, close out of the web browser and maybe restart your computer

Hi Jayne, The information
Hi Jayne,
The information I wanted to change was my email address and ID. However, when I went to save the information, it wouldn't as I do not live in the US or Canada and had to leave those fields blank. It didn't like that and I received messages that I must complete all fields. *Sigh*.
Penn and Katherine, thanks for answering - I did try refreshing the page and also logging out and trying to update on two other days, but it was still the same. While I emailed the main eharlequin email address, the answer was about orders and so I thought it easier to create a new ID. I didn't think of asking the community
.
If it wasn't for the book challenge I would have deleted that ID. I can't see how I can transfer those posts to my new ID.
cheers
Eleni
I think someone else had this problem too ......
the address must be US or Canada because of the book store ..... if you don't order from the eHarl book store than what I would do is open up any Harlequin and put in the US or Canadian address for Harlequin from the copy right page .... this should meet the requirements for the change to your identity info. ... you can also find this address by scrolling down to the bottom of any page here and click on Harlequin Enterprises Limited
and then I'd email the techs or Jayne and tell them what you did to make you id work
once you have your id working ... you can repost the one book review under your the proper ID and then come back to this ID and delete the one review (click on Edit and scroll down to the review area and then delete) ... and then I think you can ask to have that ID deleted through profile updates ... not sure
do let Jayne and the techs know what you've done though so that they can look into perhaps changing something in the member sign up to allow International members for the Community only
hope this helps!
