When smoke jumper Hana Egan is injured in a climbing accident, pilot Mick Callen helps out the woman he's always been attracted to -- even though she's pregnant with the child of another smoke jumper who died in the accident. Having grown up shuttled from foster home to foster home, Hana has a hard time accepting Mick's help.
