I truly never expected to win. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me. It is such an honor to be included on a list with Paisley, Kalyko, Christa-r, and Sadhbh. Congratulations to all of them.
I want to thank everyone here on the boards at eHarlequin. Being a part of this community has been a sanity saver for me. I have never done something like this before but I enjoy every moment spent here. I love the fact that I am not alone in my love of romance and that others enjoy the books as much as I do and have huge TBR’s also. I want to say thanks to the reviewers who have introduced me to new authors, to all the interesting blog posts that have broadened my knowledge and to everyone for such a warm caring community. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it.
I must confess that I never voted for these awards. I started to make a list but I came up with at least 3 names for every award and just could not pick a favorite. I value all of you so much.
I am looking forward to 2009 and a full year of the challenge. I wish everyone a Happy, Healthy, Prosperous and Productive New Year. May some of your dreams come true.

Oh wow. I see my name! I got an honourary nod. That's very cool. I didn't know there were awards for the challenge, this is fun.
Congrats to everyone mentioned... Paisley, Kalyko, Christa_r, Sadhbh, Kaelee, Holly Jacobs, Janabelle, Aunt Cheryl, debiw781, shewolf0316, Tammys, VincePlato! I've spoken to pretty near all of you and it's been great to read your reviews and chat about common books we were interested in.
There are also LOTS of people who weren't mentioned but were such fun! Margie, Orchid, Ellejay, Ellysoar, Katherine, w-w-w.... I've loved talking to you six or so guys. Meeting all these people who share my interests has been GREAT. Never met so many people in real life with the same interests.
Also.... there's been some authors who I've met here! Never met an author before... chatting with the authors in the Harlequin Presents section... great! Kate Walker, Kate Hewitt, Abby Green... have been so nice. And Amy Andrews, Olivia Gates, Kelly Hunter have talked to me randomly on the Message Boards and pleasantly surprised me. They are such nice people. (I've actually tried three or four medical romances now, Amy, if you're around. And thanks so much for bringing Kelly into the mix!)
