My dh Glenn went to the family doctor today after taking the last dose of the second stronger antibiotic yesterday. The doctor feels the infection is gone. We are happy but hesitant given his experience with reoccurant cellutitis in the 1970s. He still needs to drink lots of fluid (to protect the kidneys) and take it easy (One of the possible side effects of Levaquin is blown tendons) for a few days.
I have quite a few books to review so I am a bit behind blogging versus reading and hopelessly behind reading blogs. We rested and chilled out most of the weekend, but we are both still beat.
So...we are happy but hesitant and hopefully will be back to normal pace soon.

Glenn does have some dentist appointments starting next week but nothing surprising there---he already has had the exam and X-rays with our new general dentist. All I want to do is read and blog/review and houseclean.

Thanks everyone. I am definitely relieved! Optimistically hesitant. We will watch it however. The actual burn is about 1/4 or less of what is was. I am glad he started on those IV antibiotics right way.
I am really behind on my reviews as compared to my reading (already passed book 100) but I am just going to blog them as can and enjoy it rather than rush through it and not do the great books justice. Maybe I can get Glenn to blog some of his books he has read since he still needs to take it easy and elevate. I realized just how much housekeeping he does, that is for sure!
