The search for more evidence in Rainey's murder continues. Darcy has begun her own investigative service over the last three years. Her primary focus though is saving women and children who are being abused, simply because she knows what it is like to be in their situation and how much a little help can go a long way. Darcy's only saving grace right now is that those who did not know her 5 years ago (except for a selective few) know her as someone else. But Darcy knows that all she is doing is hiding behind a glass wall that can be discovered if someone really wanted to find out. When the monsters of her past begin to come out, she must make a decision that will change the lives of her loved ones and the lives of a few strangers too. Now she needs to find her inner strength and hold on to it to get the freedom that she needs.
Again, I am never let down by a Bombshell book. Two down, and ten more to go in this Athena Force Series set
