What to say about this book. For starters, this character has a book in the second set of Athena Force and I really liked that story, so I think that helped me like this one even more. I finally got to read the beginning of how things shaped her life in the second book. Even though both books could be read separately without feeling like you were missing anything, it is nice to know what actually happened.
Tory is a very successful reporter who is on her way to becoming a household name with her in-depth investigative reporting. She gets the lead of a lifetime when a Navy SEAL Commander is found alive 6 months after being presumed dead. But as Tory goes in for her interviews, she is all of a sudden barred from speaking to any government officials or the Commander she was sent to interview. In digging into more information and trying to get her interviews, she runs into some familiar faces who are questionable. Now Tory has to decide who she can trust and who is hiding more than they are willing to tell. Someone in the Government is trying to hide something. Too bad for them, Tory thrives off of being able to get difficult information. The only remaining questions is will Tory be willing to risk her life for the story of a lifetime?
Again, really good book. I highly recommend the Athena Series to anyone. Overall rating on a 1-10 scale: 8

I have
most of the first ones upstairs waiting to figure out if I am missing any. I think this one is in the pile. I will have to look. I have read several of them and enjoyed all I have read but want to go back and find them all. Thanks for the info

This is one of my favorite AF books. She does a follow-up with the characters in another story.
