Amanda is sheltered and oppressed until she is force to entertain Hank. Together they make discoveries about life and through Hank she learns what it is like to have ones freedom. This one is also a period piece set in the early nineteen hundreds. It is a good story with some history mixed in. While I did enjoy it I would not read it again.
