BAYOU CORRUPTION

Jackson Devereaux has come to help his buddy the sheriff, but before he can really help him, the sheriff is attacted and left for dead.  Alyssa LeBlanc who is home because her grandmother was in the hospital, discovers the sheriff.  Her car gives her a problem and she sees two men throw the sheriff out of a car.  Alyssa does not want to be back in the Bayou, she left as soon as she could, she is ashamed of her roots.  She is a newspaper reporter.  Jackson, who is helping his buddy out, is also a newspaper reporter on a rival paper.  Together they look for clues to lead them to the reason for the attack on the sheriff.
