She's always been beyond his control . . . .
Assistant District Attorney Ava Turkowski knows about leading a dangerous life - her father was a risk taker who died in the line of duty and her beloved brother is taking just as many chances. Now a high-profile case has landed Ava herself in the crosshairs--and the only man standing between her and certain death is the one she can't forget.
Justin Brandt was Ava's brother's best friend, her protector during her wild-child teenage years. . . and the object of her hottest fantasies. Now he's a highly trained Navy SEAL with a body to die for and he's been tasked with keeping Ava alive. Which means keeping her close--the closer the better . .
I highly enjoyed this story. Both are highly driven and have past issues that need to be resolved. In the meantime, a new crime lord is after Ava. You also get a side story with her brother. And since a couple of the guys in Justin's group are spoken for, I would like to see Rev get a story. Nothing like a SEAL with a cajun accent!
And a p.s. - I emailed Stephanie because I wanted to know what route she took to get from where they were in NY to the PA/MD border in 2 hours. You'll be happy to know I gave her a good laugh

Love the SEAL stories
and yes, hope we see Rev's story soon! Did Stephanie give you routes from NY to PA/MD? Would be good to know as I am 2 hours via Turnpike & 95 from the border, but NY is farther away! Of course, maybe they had a lead foot! Seen plenty of those on the Turnpike!

I hear ya!
Soooo true about the turnpike. Or 95. Or Rte 1.
She said her dh mapped one and she took in consideration how dh drove (i.e. fast and crazy), and figured it'd be dead of night. I still don't see it happening though

Love these Seals!
Love these Seals! I still want the brother's story from the first book. The last we heard he was going off for treatment. I wanna know.
