Back cover blurb - Sean O'Banyon got it bad for Lizzie Bond. And that's not good . . .
Loved, loved, loved this book. Normally I steer clear of Alhpas. But this book may have changed my opinion. The emotion in the book grabs you and doesn't let go. Sean, the hero, has suffered physical abuse as a child, and naturally that has colored his vision of relationships although he's achieved a great deal of success on his own. Lizzie, a nurse, had befriended Sean's father unaware of the man's checked past. Upon the father's passing she meets Sean and boy, do the sparks fly.
The journey which Sean and Lizzie travel to find love and to overcome the horrors in Sean's past is one I found extremely compelling. I can't wait to read more books by this author!

This was one of my favorite
This was one of my favorite reads from last year. It was so good. I loved how strong Lizzie was and the ending was very real and satisfying.
I read her JR Ward books first and was so happy to find that she is Jessica Bird so now I have her books to look forward to also. I read the Silhouette book before this one and loved it too.
