Well, I was going to post a bunch of reviews, then talk about birthdays (mine was yesterday - according to EST by now).
So of course, it's not my life with out some friend drama and extra kinks - but over all, nice. And I hope everyone else had a good day :)
Happy birthday to all the other June babies, and if you aren't one - you can celebrate my belated one right along with me, because I'm thinking I'll get an ice cream cake soon :P

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Happy belated birthday to you and all the other June babies. My son's is July 1 and here in Canada it is a holiday, so he always gets fireworks for his birthday

Christa,
Thank you. And as for your son, that's so nice! I have a lot of friends with birthdays close to mine - my sister's is a week before mine (and three years) and another friend's is just 5 days after mine - so she somewhat gets fireworks b/c it's the day before the 4th of July :). Cute.

Happy (late) Birthday!
Cheers, and hoping this coming year will be the best for you!

Christa....
My DD loves fireworks, but her b-day isn't until September. The best we could do for her would be to use left-over sparklers.... LOL Bet your little boy loves the bonus of fireworks for his parties, huh?
BTW, just curious, but since you live in Canada and you don't celebrate the US's Independence Day, what holiday do you guys celebrate on July 1st?

LOL!
Oh well, what is that saying? Once a boy, always a boy? My kid brother is twenty-one, but I still think he's acts like a little boy sometimes *giggle, snort*. He's been my pet-project ever since he was born, since I'm eleven years older. Oh, and he still likes fireworks, too! I don't think anybody quite outgrows them.

Happy Birthday I
Happy Birthday
I chose my marriage date—4 July—so that I could have fireworks. unfortunately, I forgot that here in France, it's fireworks on the 14 JULY. *sigh*

Thanks a lot, Tiffany :D
LOL
So true about the once a boy, always a boy.
My *dad* is the same. One of my friends recently turned 27, and he's hoping he can buy and set off his own fireworks.
Fake Frenchie - awe- so close, yet so far away! Still it's vaguely close...
Hope your birthday
Hope your birthday was totally awesome!

Have you ever noticed how girls and women like the fireworks because they're beautiful and colorful, and guys like them mostly because they're LOUD? LOL Of course, my DH and brother both say they're pretty too, but they really marvel over the noise! *shaking my head and smiling*

Fake Frenchie...
You didn't get to have fireworks at all for your wedding? Wouldn't they let you set them off early? Around here, I'm hearing and seeing fireworks even though it's still four (almost five) days away. That would be a cool finale for a reception!

Thanks so much! There were some random kinks thrown in - but... it was good overall!

Oh I know. I love firework shows, especially set to music. Boys (and men), not only like them because they're loud, but because of the whole "fire" and pyrotechnic aspect. Silly males.
Firework
Over Niagara Falls they set off fireworks every Saturday in the summer to music and light up the falls(Yes we lit the American side
). I don't know if they still do that. I haven't been there in a while(even though it's only like 20 minutes away) But I know in the winter they still have the Fesival of lights

Happy belated birthday to you. My birthday is one day before yours - June 27th and I did get an ice cream cake. Too funny after I read your post. I do hope you had a Happy Birthday and Happy Birthday to all the other June babies.
Tammy
Yay!
Happy belated birthday, Tammy! (I have three other friends with your birthday!) :D
Christa - How fun! I love fireworks. I've only been to Niagara Falls a few times though.
Niagara Falls
I think it's an attraction I take for granted since living so close.(to me it's a bunch of water going over a cliff
) I've been living in the same area for the last 30 years. When I was working in Niagara Falls I thought it all the traffic was a pain plus at that time it looked gaudy with souvineer shops everywhere.
But I think one of my most unique dates was to watch the fireworks after dinner then ice cream and mini putt

Yeah...
Isn't it funny (and amazing) the things we take for granted? Like breathing. As someone who spent a lot of time being sick/with horrible allergies, I think breathing is highly underappreciated.
Haha - I love love love water. I think I could stare at one of those tiny counter fountains for hours. I can see how it's a hassle though- and traffic. Blah. I also wouldn't like my town being kitschy etc. 40 minutes away might be perfect no? Not too close, yet just close enough.
