She doesn't give a great review of Dark Lover. Too bad. SOTB will not like this!

 I for one, can't wait for the next book to come out. i think it's due the beginning of summer, right?

I LOVE Wrath, Rhage(I think he's possibly my favorite), Zsadist, Vishous, Phury, and Tohrment, and whomever else Ward decides to give us

I am not even going to read the review.  Instead I am opting for the sticking my head in the sand scenario.  Or better yet, covering my ears with my hands and saying "nah nah nah nah nah".  I don't think I can stand to hear something bad uttered about the Brothers.  I love 'em all!

I think they're just fine the way they are and once you get to know them they just couldn't be anyone else.

I mean the name describes the reviewer to perfection.  Not like Dark Lover? - come on!  She must have been smokin' something or just plain asleep.  Just thinking about anything negative said about Wrath gets my blood pumping.  Well.... ahem... actually any thoughts about Wrath gets my blood pumping .

Thanks for bringing back the SOTB/LATB site - this will be fun!

it's their loss - there's just no accounting for taste (poor eejits)

Obviously JR Ward is right to keep on writing, because there are A LOT of SLATBs out there 

and if I can reread the books hundreds of times in a year and still find enjoyment, she's gotta be doing something right

I don't get all the Brothers in the same way all the time, but that's
no reason to diss them or to disagree with the fans of the Brothers I
don't get - I'll just agree to differ

If someone didn't like it based on personal opinion and really had a good reason why they didn't like it, the whole thing wouldn't be so bad. Those people it seemed trashed it just to do it. And yeah it would be quite entertaining if someone like that dared to come around here lol.

We don't need to be bothered with that.  Obviously, they just don't a good story with hot guys when they read one.  Can just image what their relationships are like

How soon will it be June?  Seems like a ton of books I want to read all come out then.  Of course, this one will be first.  Especially since I have 3 that will want to read it too.  None of them are book-keepers, so we take turns buying, but I always get to keep them.  Great deal, huh?  I also have my bf's mom reading them now, so I'm betting she'll want to borrow it too.  Her dd is in VA now, so I can't loan them to her, but I'm trying to talk her into picking them up.  I know these are right up her alley.

I never watched Newhart, but George Foreman has 6 kids (I think) and they are all named George (incl. his dd - its Georgia or Georgina or something of the female version).  I always thought that was too funny.  Talk about never forgetting or mixing up their names.  I always wondered if he numbered them.  You know - #3 come here!  #5 the phones for you! 

Moonsong, love your tag line.  I never thought about that for my pile.  Of course, mine could start an avalanche, but that's another story.

Kathy K, I'm really glad to hear i'm not the only one that remembers and even watched the Bob Newhart show.

LOL Alias...Fun post you wrote! I enjoyed reading it and got several chuckles.  I don't recall a show with 6 children with the same names..it would definately get confusing for sure...My dh's in the shower, and since he's always been a tv finatic, and is working on the square butt to prove it...i'll ask him if he recalls that show.

We just have to tolerate them. =P Maybe a straitjacket? lOl.

Sadly, I'm having BDB withdrawals too - I lent them to my friend, along with a couple other series, but she still hasn't returned them.

It's been three months. She's already finished with them all.

Twice. =(

Which is good for her, but not for me. I might have to get her a copy of them all for the next holiday, just to get them back.

Z's still my favorite!  But I can't wait for Phury's book....

SLATB..."Sisters Lusting After the Brothers!!"  I absolutely love it!!  I have to say I cannot wait for June to come.  Phury's story is going to be brilliant I'm sure!  Girls I've got a new Lover Enshrined decounter on my profile page.  It is taking forever to count down though...  But there is some good news.  I do believe it is October that the compendium is coming out...at least that is only about a 3 month wait.

Withdrawal symptoms...Oh yes!

 I never went to that site to read the unkind words of the brothers...I'm not really interested in that kind of opinion.  I know there are people out there that do not like vampire stories and they are entitled to there opinion.  But personally I don't understand how anyone can't fall for and love those big sexy brothers!!  All I want is some big brother lovin'...

Kathy, George Foreman is an ex-boxer and he owns the "George Foreman Grill" you see everywhere.  Not a tv show - his real kids.   Always thought it was funny though

I haven't read the review of DL, but DL is not my favourite book in
the series. I liked the way it set up the series, but Z's and V's books
called to me so much more

Wasn't really into Rhage either, but
loved his beastie and Mary so that made LE okay - and of course loved
him being tied to the bed

And of course the whole Butch story was just too fascinating

I'm
interested in Phury because she seems to be going in a (to me)
unanticipated direction, so I'm going to travel aways down the road
just to see where it leads

Just a long-winded way of saying if you stopped at DL I'm not surprised you're not such a big fan but all may not be lost

because you have to have read the others and go back and realise she
had all that to develop and yet DL had to  stand alone as such
because she hadn't yet written any of the others

When you think of all the little hints and important bits that are just sprinkled through DL so nonchalantly

I'd love to be able to write like that

but seeing as I can't, I'm delighted to be able to read the books (and reread them, and reread them and reread them ) - No there's no echo in here, I genuinely DO reread them in a loop like that, and when I've finished ...

I got my books back from my friend. I didn't even have to 'borrow' them back, either! I was quite shocked.

So I sat down when I got home and re-read Z's book... =P

I'm in a very good mood now.
