There's always something so DAUNTING about facing that first blank page. What to say? How to say it? Or in this case which book of the couple that I've read this week to choose for first? Any one else feel like that?
First off I wanted to say that one of my New Year's resolutions is to read more historicals. I used to read lots. I read so many that I had to take a break (I'd done the same with the fantasy genre previously) but now I'm realising that I'm simply missing so many good stories. My very frank, very fabulous critique partner Karina Bliss told me that! So expect to see some historicals sprinkled through my reading.
Secondly, I'm on deadline right now, so I shouldn't really be reading. At all. It's a very guilty pleasure but I can't resist.
Finally, while the new eHarlequin environment is exciting and looks beautiful--I'm really not sure that it's going to work. So I'll try post now to see that I've gotten it right....
