The second book in the series, I think the heroine’s coming into her own. She seems stronger and more determined to find her sister’s killer than ever. There are a lot of twists and turns as everyone has an agenda and she can’t figure out who to trust. She’s getting better at figuring her own path and not losing sight of her own goals. I like Mac and the enigmatic and attractive Barrons as well! (MTH)
