THE BLUE GIRL by Charles DeLint

A YA novel about a young Goth girl who sees a ghost in school and then starts seeing her imaginary childhood friend come to life as well. Evil is coming after her, and she needs to find a way to avoid the darkness. The story was a bit complex, and I liked it, but I got a bit confused as well. I really enjoyed glimpses of other characters from the rest of DeLint’s books, and a sense of the greater connections. (MTH)
