I haven't read either of the first two in Bond's series featuring plucky Carlotta Wren and her host of irresistible men and her wayward brother, but this book had me salivating to read the others. In a flawless execution of murder, mystery and mayhem, Bond manages to paint the characters with care, exploring the motives and flaws that make every one of them someone to root for and hate all at once.
This was a great book. Be sure to watch out for the sequels and prequels, as well. Coming August 2008 to MIRA Books.
