The Bodyguard's Return by Carla Cassidy

Joshua West has returned to his hometown of Cotter Creek, OK after a year and a half in NYC.  He is the youngest of 6 siblings who have all worked for the family business of Wild West Bodyguards.  He went to the "big city" to discover who he was away from his family.  What he discovered is that he missed his big loving family and the ranch life.  He enjoyed NYC for a while until the newness wore off.  Now he doesn't know what he wants to do.  He's not sure if he wants to go back into the family business because it feels like a failure, but he is also feeling like a failure in his personal relationships.  Savannah Clarion is a new resident of Cotter Creek and the "gossip" reporter for the local paper.  She loves Cotter Creek and though everyone seems to think she'll leave for bigger and better things she's content to stay.  When a mutual friend dies and the sheriff believes it to be a suicide, Savannah must enlist Joshua's help since she believes their friend was murdered and it looks like several other residents have been murdered too.  Good story.  I'm not sure how I ended up with just two books from this series and not all of them, but hey this one was good and the one I'm currently reading is pretty good as well.
