In light of My Dearest Gnat's comments, I have updated this entry. Today, you all have read 1359 books. According to My Gnat, you started on January 8th, which makes 13 days. This means about 104.5 books per day. Multiplied by 357 equals 37 306.5 books this year. But obviously, there is the "slow start" factor that comes into play. In fact, since my last post on January 17th (4 days) you have increased the yearly totaly by 14 461.5 books. If you continue to increase the totals by this increment every 4 days, you will reach a total of … 1 290 689 books by the end of 2008. (Of course, if someone better at math than I cares to dispute these figures, go to it!)
