Bought for the Frenchman's Pleasure

Back cover summary: As a top model, Sorcha Murphy commands a high price. But a terrible, hidden secret is about to return to haunt her.

Romain de Valois knows Sorcha is damaged goods--her hedonistic reputation speaks for itself. But he wants her for one final assignment, and he's prepared to pay. Romain believes Sorcha hasn't changed her ways, and decides to change the deal: her paycheck will be recouped in the bedroom!

Why I picked up this book: I adored Abby Green's debut Presents (Chosen as the Frenchman's Bride), so I wanted to give this one a try.

What I got from the book: The title is misleading. Romain did want to make Sorcha his mistress, but that never happened. The book was more about how Romain struggled with his desire for Sorcha when he knew about her bad reputation. It took a while for him to realize what kind of woman she really was--and Sorcha wasn't going to make it easy for him. After all, the guy did ruin her life years ago.

What I can expect from the author: Abby Green offers pure escapism!

Last word: Bought for the Frenchman's Pleasure is an absorbing read.
