Each of these novelas? is about a 100 pages and deals with the romance of a member of the Colton Family. One starts witht the original story of William who by rejecting the bride of the Mansfield Family when a magical saphire necklace said she would not be a good match started a family feud that lasted for generations. Another deals with the end of the feud when Dr Jason Colton falls in love with the last of the Mansfields. And the first in the book deals with a white knight who owes the Bride's "father" a bit of revenge for past injuries, but finds that he loves the bride to be and the saphires agree this is a match made in heaven. I really enjoyed this prequell to the 12 books in the Colton series and I'll be looking for the rest if I can find them since this series stems from 2001 or 2002.
