The Briton by Catherine Palmer LI Historical Inaugural Issue #1 - Feb 08

This is a great book! Bronwen is a strong, determined woman. Yes, she marries for political reasons, but that's because she has deep loyalties to her father and her country. Jacques Le Brun, a Norman knight, understands that she can't just switch loyalties, even after she's lost her father and their lands. He's willing to wait until she freely offers her love. But will she realize what's at stake before it's too late?

Catherine Palmer delves into a time in history when Britons, Vikings, and Normans, fought for control over the British Isles. It was interesting to read how the Norman invasion brought Christianity to the pagans.

I want to talk so much more about this book but I don't want to spoil it for anyone else so I'll stop here.
