Wow! I am amazed that Catherine wrote this book 23 years before it was published!!!!! It was a very fluent read that set a high mark for the LIHistoricals sure to follow!
Lady Bronwen is a typical oldest sibling. She takes her responsibility to her family very serious. She would do anything to defend her families property.
Jacques le Brun is an excellent Christian knight in shining armour! His character is realistic and lovable.
If you love this time-period, you will love this book. It is not set in a time or place that has many connections for me, so it is not in my top ten list, but it is an EXCELLENT read!
