My Review:
Whew. This was quite a read. Rachel and Ben have been separated for about two years. The hero thought he was giving the heroine time to "come to her senses" but for the heroine it was over because she really believed he'd cheated. The heroine came to him to get a divorce because she'd met someone new, and that's when the hero stepped in and started saying his objections. He was angry with her for moving on. Eventually he told her he still wanted her, and that he hadn't then or now cheated on his marriage vows, that she and their daughter were what he wanted/loved. Mmmm. Very nice resolution, that's the kind of man a woman would want to marry, one who fought for her and didn't turn to other women when it got hard.
The best scene in this book was when the heroine jokingly offered him a romp of sex to get him off her back about the divorce, and the hero very very seriously accepted. That scene was steamy and very intense, especially when you read into the hero's slight fumblings and impatience to understand that he has been waiting and wanting this/her for a long time.
Rating: 4.5/5 stars, a very intense and steamy reunion story.
