Burning Up

Burning UpSophie Gallagher takes a job as a personal chef for a Hotter than Hades
movie star after a bad break up and a desire to break out of a personal
and professional rut. She discovers that she's not the only one with personal demons to expunge and embarks on one heck of an exorcism with her employer, only to rediscover her back bone, a lot of smarts, integrity and the love of her life along the way.

Sarah Mayberry is my new favorite new-to-me author. Malle did a wonderful job of reviewing this book, so I won't try to compete, but the book has such a HUGE big book feel to it, the writing is so mature and the feelings between the characters so real, that I can't wait to read her next one, and I"ll be dipping into her backlist for sure!

re: Burning Up

This sounds fantastic.  I haven't read Sarah Mayberry so I'll be sure to add her to my mental list.

Oddly, while I like Blazes quite a bit, I haven't been in the mood for them yet this year...I'm sure one month I'll get a craving and then read a whole bunch in a row!

Give it a go....

I really think you'd enjoy it Lady AM!
