It's taken me awhile to get through this as I've been reading several at the same time. I enjoyed it but there are just so many books I want to read like NOW! This one starts up shortly where Carpe Demon leaves off.
Kate Connor is still juggling the mom and wife gig while brushing up on her martial arts to get back in fighting form. It's not easy being a demon hunter but when they invade her daughter's school Kate is more determined than ever to find out what is going on. She's found a demon book, now if she can figure out what it all means. Plus who is the teacher David Long who seems so familiar. Then there's also Allie's new interest in surfing or that might just be one surfer in particular. Rating: Very Good

was fun but like you, it took me awhile to get through it. I kept reading other books even though I enjoyed this one when I was reading it. Had to get in that funny, demon hunting sort of mood I guess....
