Caroline's Waterloo by Betty Neels (HR#2393, 1980)
A typical lovely read from Ms. Neels. Caro is an English nurse on vacation in Friesland (Netherlands) and hurts herself in front of the country home of Baron Radinck Thoe van Erckelens (also a medical professor/doctor). He insists that she stays in his home until she's well but once she's gone, he misses her and goes to England to propose marriage. She, of course, is already in love with him and determines to make him fall in love with her. Which he probably already was but didn't know it. The usual good friends and loyal servants, pets, food and clothes descriptions. A sweet read. NFM=No Further Message
