A Cat Abroad by Peter Gethers (copyright 1993, publisher Fawcett Columbine/Ballantine Books)

I read the first book in this series about a real cat and his human last year and knew this would be an enjoyable and light read.  I chose it for my airplane ride this week intending to leave it behind (on the plane) for another lucky bookworm (or to convert a non-reading cat lover) but the cat & his human live in the south of France for a year and sightsee in places that I think Sadhbh might know, so now I will include it in her next box to see what she thinks of this gentleman's perspective on that part of the world . . . Another seri in the Harlequin Intrigue line is Fear Familiar.  It is a series written by Caroline Burnes and this cat is a past master at solving crimes all over the country although his permanent home is in Washington, D.C.  I have enjoyed everyone and am always happy when a new one comes out.
