I know I've mentioned it before but Gena Showalter is one of my auto buy authors. For me her hunks are mmm, so fine, and her female characters always come across as real and funny. Her book also contain a considerable amount of steam, which I appreciate.
Catch a Mate was no exception and I'm glad I picked it up. I can't wait until her new series comes out.

I just started this one...it's definitely not the sort of thing I'd usually read, but I enjoyed Showalter's Playing With Fire and the premise amused me, so I ordered it on a lark. I'm barely 20 pages in but am loving it so far!

Yeah, I really like Gena's books, they're witty and funny, and I appreciate the spirited women. I relate to them so much better than the "innocents" or milksop misses you'll find in a lot of other tales.
I also like it that the baggage carried by the couple is usually pretty evenly distributed.
