Claiming the Highlander

Braden MacAllister was born loving women.  From birth, women fell at his feet.  Now Braden has returned to Scotland from England only to find that Maggie ingen Blar has convinced all the women of the MacAllister clan and the McDouglas clan to withhold their favors, along with cooking, cleaning and everything else they do until the two clans settle their feud.  Braden assured his brothers that he could talk Maggie out of this foolish behavior quickly and was given four days.  A simple task, except Maggie was the one woman immune to Braden's charms (except that she has been in love with him since she was a little girl).  As Braden, Maggie and Braden's half-brother Sin travel to meet with the McDouglas, Braden discovers that he likes Maggie.  What will be the end of the tale?  What forces the two clans to stop feuding?

I liked this book.  It's not the first one I've read in the series and so I feel comfortable with the others characters.  Braden is a real charmer all right and it takes everything Maggie has to resist him.  Braden also fits the profile of the main character very well and looks like the hero on the back cover.  I give this book an A.Cool
