Bailey Wingate is seen as gold-digger who marries her husband as he was dying of cancer, only a few people know that it was a business deal set up to ensure that his kids don’t blow through all of the money. Cam Justice, a pilot with the air service she uses, doesn’t think much of her until the two survive a plane crash together. They survived the crash, but can they continue to survive until rescue comes and will their feelings for each other change? This is not a typical romance as much of the time is spent on the crash and the ways they work to survive, however, that did make it interesting. I loved Captain Justice (what a great name), he is a typical LH hero, but I really enjoy her heroes. Bailey is competent and interesting. The mystery works well – I had little clue until the end. The reader was good with the different voices, but when she wasn’t doing dialogue, she would lisp occasionally, that bothered me a bit in the beginning, but was soon overcome. Overall, another Very Good Installment by Linda Howard.

I've heard a lot of good
I've heard a lot of good things about Linda Howard's books but don't think I've read any. I believe I do have at least one of her's in my tbr shelves. I may have to remember to try it sooner rather than later. Do you enjoy her books in general?
Tracey
I love Linda Howard. She is one of my very favorite authors. I first started reading her category romance and now I keep up with all her new stuff. The only category books that I can say I did not like very much were All That Glitters and Independant Wife. Of her non category, I love most and others are really good. There have been a slow one or two but they were still okay. One western where the hero made me really mad. I didn't like him. Sorry can't remember the name.
But over all, she is awesome. I love her books. She is one of my must reads from way back, like Nora Roberts and Jayne Ann Krentz. I hope you give her a try.
Margie :)
Tracey - I am with Margie,
Tracey - I am with Margie, in that I have loved a lot of her books and liked most of the others, very few are clunkers. One of my favorites of hers is To Die For - excellent book, very funny. Another favorite is Open Season. I will be looking for your post, when you finally get to hers.
