Cold Case, Hot Bodies by Jule McBride, Blaze 10/2007

Who really owns the historical building that is a part of New York City's "naughtier" side?

Officer Dario Donato is ordered to investigate a cold case while his family is involved in waiting a decision about who the rightful owner of a property is, that has been in the family for years.  Little did they know that it might not belong to them despite the family history.  Dario is going to live in the old building while he tries to figure out what is happening as the tenants are complaining about loud music and laughter in the middle of the night.  The first night Dario is staying in the building a lovely, sexy lady slips into his bed during the night.  He was expecting his current fling, Shelia, so he is not surprised when he is deliciously awakened after falling asleep.  He is very surprised when the next day he discovers it was not Shelia but seems to be a woman he has only read about, but she has been dead for over 100 years.

Cassidy is determined to prove that she is the rightful owner of the property in the "Five Points" historical district of New York.  After she seduces Dario in the middle of the night, they decide to work together to prove who the rightful owner is.  Can each of them come out a winner?

Steamy, sexy story mixing mystery, history and two people trying not to fall in love.

Great review!

I loved this book!  It had a little of everything - sex, romance, mystery, suspense, paranormal - all in one book!
