November 2009 MEMBER OF THE MONTH

Thanks to everyone for the good wishes. My doctor referred me to an orthopedic surgeon for the rotator cuff and the first available appointment was this coming Monday. Hopefully, he'll be able to do something soon. It's my right shoulder and I'm right-handed. Aside from the pain, it's a hassle trying to do everything left-handed.

Congrats, ladies, and best of luck to you, Kathie. It's got to be rough, especially as a writer, to handle these bumps along the way. Just think of all the stories that have evolved because of the bumps! (A silver lining, perhaps?)

Keep us posted on what the ortho says. Here's hoping you won't have to have surgery. I've worked in several PT clinics and it's the hardest surgery to rehab from. Not trying to scare you or freak you out, but let you know what may be in your future so you know what to possibly expect.
