This is the last Montana Maverick book – it is the story of Russ and Melanie. Russ is anti-development for Thunder Canyon and Melanie is looking to develop a Guest Ranch on the neighboring ranch he had hoped to purchase. Melanie offers him half of the land if he will marry her and help her figure out how to run a ranch. Of course, sparks fly but will they each admit their emotional weaknesses and find a way to be together? I enjoyed this book. I liked how Melanie called out Russ and his tenacity to run when things got emotional. I would have liked more on why Melanie’s hands quit and her delivery problems. Overall, a nice finish to the series.

I am sure there will be another MM series as it is so popular. After being a bit unhappy with it, I enjoyed the last several books, so I would probably end up buying the next one. I swear I am a series slut and I need help.
