Creating Characters byDonald Swain

This is a reprint of Swain's 1990 book on the nuts and bolts behind the creation of characters. As with his preivous book, Techniques of a Selling Wrtier, Swain compacts a lot of material in a highly readable book. He uses broad brush strokes so that the reader can understnad how to use the techniques. With his background in pulp ficiton.Swain is acutely aware of the demands of the medium. Practical, hands on and worth reading.
