CSI: Serial

I truly love manga and graphic novels.  I also have come to love forensic-type novels such as Robin Cook and Kathy Reichs write.  So, when I found a CSI graphic novel, I couldn’t resist.

The story line was really good.  The likeness to the real actors was dead on.  The artist must have been a fan since Grissom’s mannerisms and such were dead on.  The art itself, was a little lacking.  But then, I’m used to the traditional Japanese manga with its fantastic artwork.  Not to say that the art in this was bad, because it wasn’t.  See my comment about the likenesses.  It just wasn’t up to par with what I am used to.

I would definitely check out others in this series however.  I enjoy CSI and combining it with a graphic novel?  Score!
