The Daddy Makeover by RaeAnne Thayne (Silhouette Special Edition, 10/07)

Sage Benedetto loves her job as a naturalist and she loves her home, Brambleberry House. But she is missing her dear friend, Abigail, the elderly lady that befriended Sage. Now that Abigail is gone, she shares Brambleberry house with Anna. Abigail has left the house and her dog Conan to these two women who still have to find a friendship between themselves. Sage just doesn't "get" Anna and she's not sure why Abigail left them both the house. But Abigails sweet spirit can still be felt there and Sage becomes convinced that she smells her favorite scent.

Sage is surprised to find a sweet little girl sitting on the beach during one of her morning jogs with Conan. The little sweetheart has decided to come out early to look for sand dollars without telling anyone she has left the house. Chloe's dad owns many fine hotels and he is in town to purchase The Sea Urchin to add to his list of properties. He's been forced to bring Chloe along since the latest nanny, in a long list, has quit. Eben is not happy about having Chloe with him. He knows he will never get any work done and he really wants this deal. So when Sage makes room for Chloe in her day camp, he is very grateful. He is also very attracted.

I really loved this book. It is the first in the series. This was a very sweet romance. There was also a ghostly influence that I enjoyed as you could tell that Abigail still had her hand in what was going on at Brambleberry House.

Great review - unfortunate

Great review - unfortunate about the cover, what guy wears a wife-beater t-shirt.

LOL, That is so funny but true. I would have rather had him wearing a sweat shirt. But it would have been best, no shirt.
