This is another SRS which I'm adding to my collection, and I liked it a lot. Tierney Doyle is an empath whose mother ran off when she was 3, leaving her in the hands of her empath grandmother, who now suffers from Alzheimers.
Wade Callahan is a cop looking for a serial killer. There is also someone stalking him, and that's related to a recurring dream he's had, ever since he was adopted at the age of 6. He has no recollection of his childhood before that age.
So, as you can guess, there's a lot going on in this short space, which is just the way I like my books. This is the first in a series of 4 books tagged "The Taken" about 4 siblings separated as children.
Overall, a fun read. I especially enjoyed that it was set in Portland, Oregon, because I'm from there and it sort of felt like going home again.

Oh, I love...
I really love reading books in locals that I've been there & know the area. It is also fun to read books in places I've never been but somehow if I've been there you can just picture the scenes better. This sounds like a good read & a good series.
