This is the first book by this author and while it is very well written and the story line had a great premise I did not like most of the characters. I will give her another try when another book comes out. Just a note that this is a little more edgy than most SRS books so it will not be for everyone.
There is a serial killer and Sidney gets feelings of things from touching either people or objects - not all the time but she does when she finds a missing womans dog. This makes her a suspect and Marc Cruz the officer on the task force does not believe in any such thing and is very cruel and hateful to her. So of course she is attacted to him. He is a little better by the end of the book but there is not a "WOW" moment when he realizes he is being a jerk. If I was Sidney I would just move away and tell my whole family to jump in the lake.

Thanks for your input,
Thanks for your input, Elaine. I meant for Marc to come across as cold and arrogant, not cruel, and I agree that I wasn't always succesful. Hope you'll try my next book.
