This is my first entry this year and I have SO MUCH to catch up on! It just took me this long to figure out how to do the blog (yes I'm that computer incompetent, yeesh)...will try to do a few at a time, starting with the most recent, which I finished on my exciting (not) PATH ride this morning, Cindy Dees's latest SRS THE DARK SIDE OF NIGHT, the first in her new HOT Watch miniseries.
Thank goodness for Cindy, she can make even my commute entertaining! NIGHT features an heiress and a spy and the wildly romantic ride of a lifetime. Cindy grabs you at page one and doesn't let up on either action or romance as Kinsey and Mitch meet, narrowly escape death and learn to trust--and love--each other as the situation escalates. Mitch is a terrific alpha hero, trying to get Kinsey out of danger while completing his mission but unable to stop the determined heiress from standing up for herself and fighting for the life she wants--and the man she's determined to keep. Him.
Both the romance and the suspense stay neck and neck, building to a truly terrific and satisfying payoff in the end. Needless to say, I enjoyed every second of the story.
