The Dark Side of Night (SRS #1509)

Kinsey Hollingsworth's tropical-getaway plans didn't include dodging gunshots.  Or a speedboat chase with Mitch Perovski, the tall and tempting spy who'd commandeered her boat.  But the socialite would handle anything Mitch demanded - whether it meant going undercover or under the covers.

Mitch didn't work with partners.  And although Kinsey proved she was more than a pampered heiress, she was no match for the assassin targeting them . . .or for Mitch's smoldering desire.  He had to get through this one high-stakes task with her.  But after a night in Kinsey's arms, could he walk away from their partnership for good?

This is the first in the H.O.T. Watch series (also check out the online read).  It has been a long time since I read a book in this line.  And it definitely didn't disappoint.  Reminded me of watching a high action spy movie.  Absolutely a lot of fun!  I'll be looking forward to the rest of this series.

Yes I am a readalholic and I don't want the 12 step program!!!

The Dark Side

The Dark Side of Night was excellent. It was a real page turner. The only bad thing was it just wasn't long enough. I wanted more when I finished. Cindy sure packed a bunch into this one small book.

Hi Amanda - ROTFLOL at your tagline

This will be on its way to me soon, I can hardly wait

Tagline . . .

Hi Sadhbh - glad you liked it!  It was in an e-mail I got not too long ago (all Maxine quotes), and I just couldn't resist.  Of course, not that my hubby cares enough to clean ours . . . .

Hope you get the book soon.  I, too, would have liked it a little longer, but you just can't have everything.  Maybe we'll get to see them again later in this series.

Yeah but good

Yeah but good luck on getting a man to clean anything. I'm sure there are a few but my husband just doesn't happen to be one of them.

comfort zone, men will get around to cleaning, but not if you get there firstCool

not my dh. He would live in

not my dh. He would live in a pig sty if I didn't clean it or badger him to help me to the point where he gets ticked off and helps out.

As for the book, loved it! Always enjoy Cindy Dees. But I agree, I miss the length of the SBS line, so these are shorter than I would like. But she does pack a lot into a short one.
