In The Dead of Night

Linda Castillo writes a great book about people uncovering secrets from their past. Sara and Nick strike sparks off of each other from the very beginning. The deaths of her parents and his father tie them together and his job as sheriff keeps him close to her on her search for what really happened the night they died. The suspense is palpable throughout the story, even though it is fairly easy to figure out who the person behind the attacks on Sara is.
