Rachel Morgan former runner for Inderland Runner Services is a witch with a price on her head. She leaves Inderland and takes Ivy one of the best runners with her.
Ivy is a living vampire and has a bit of a problem trying to overlook the tantalizing aroma of Rachel's blood smell. Rachel is also dodging shape-shifter assassins and a crimelord. She spells herself into a mink and gets trapped into her snooping mink self and thrown into the rat fights.
This was a re-read for me. I read the first three books years ago and haven't read the last few. Since it'd been so long thought I'd better read them again to remember the storyline. I did remember more than I thought I would. Need to listen to the second one soon. Rating: Very Good
