DEAL ME IN (bk 4 of Texas Hold 'Em series) by Cynthia Thomason, HSR 1464 Jan 08

Bk #54--Back Cover: When Brady Carrick bets he can turn Molly Davis into a cardsharp, the former football star has no idea the widowed mother has a grudge against him. That accepting Brady's challenge is a way for Molly to start a new life--and get revenge against Brady for destroying her old one...

All she has to do is keep her real identity from Brady until she earns a seat at the big poker tournament. That, and steel her heart against him. Because the closer they get, the harder it is to believe that this serious, protective cowboy is the man who killed her husband.

My thoughts: Liked the book. I didn't like Molly a whole lot through the book but maybe that's because I felt protective for Brady. Really liked him (as well as the others in the not-so-Wild Bunch). I mean, Molly was out for revenge. Just felt like she should have recognized the truth--especially after she got to know Brady. Anyhow, Brady's reaction when he discovered the truth was perfect for his character.
