• 72 hours to find the antidote. It’s a much used plot but Jessica Andersen does a brilliant job bringing it into the 21st century. It was a page turner for me.
• Mandy is a doctor recently hired in the ER of Boston General. Her boss is Parker, a doctor she had a relationship with four years earlier. She’d left because he couldn’t contribute any emotions to their relationship. She’s back because she wants to win a grant to study traditional Chinese medicine in China. When one of her patients dies of mysterious causes Mandy wants to investigate but Parker tells her to let it go. Turns out Parker is working with the police and knows Mandy will get in trouble if she starts digging.
