I read this book in two days, which wasn't unusual before I started writing, but it's very unusual now. Dave and Claire Creasy are still mourning the loss of their seven-year-old daughter, Ruby, who disappeared in the middle of the day seven years ago. When a new clue turns up, they're pulled into a past they've both been struggling to leave behind. Not a traditional romance, but definitely strong romantic elements and suspense that kept me turning pages when I should have been working. Ms. Stevens uses the atmosphere surrounding post-Katrina New Orleans to create a haunting book. This one's a keeper on my shelf.

Excellent Review
Thank you. I have this one on my TBR shelves and haven't read anything by this author before. This one may need to "move up" in the pile.
