Navy SEAL Zachary “Pretty Boy” Floyd’s whole world has been turned upside down. Who would have thought this playboy would be a father? Zach can’t believe it when he finds himself stuck with his son, otherwise knows as Sammy the Snot, while the forces of al-Qaeda try to take Sammy away. Zach is also still pining away for Britta Asadottir, the Viking Amazon he encountered in ROUGH AND READY, when Britta comes forward in time. Will Zach be able to woo Britta this time around while juggling the duties of fatherhood to a son who hates him?
Sammy the Snot steals the show in DOWN AND DIRTY! This adorable little pain in the behind child alternately made me laugh out loud and sympathize with Zach and the slew of babysitters Sammy torments. One can’t help but love Sammy as he offers tiny glimpses of just how hard his life was before Zach stole him out of Afghanistan. Sandra Hill has created one of her most memorable secondary characters in Sammy and I certainly hope he makes guest appearances in future books.
DOWN AND DIRTY is part of a loosely connected series but is easily read as a stand alone. There are characters from prior books and Britta and Zach actually first met in ROUGH AND READY but Sandra Hill always ensures readers can start anywhere with her books and still get the full flavor of the story.
Sandra Hill consistently delivers humorous but sensual novels that are fun to read. DOWN AND DIRTY is no exception as fans will recognize Ms. Hill’s signature style throughout this wonderful story. DOWN AND DIRTY is another hit for Sandra Hill!

Love her Cajun
Love her Cajun series.
Tried one of her Viking stories along time ago, but i had to put it aside. It wasn't working for me at all. Could be i was in the wrong mood, not sure., but i am a fan of time-travel and have been for many years. One day i'd like to try the other Viking one i have in my tbr and see if it works better for me.
I have Down & Dirty waiting in my tbr, and look forward to reading it. Sandra is an auto-buy since i read her first Cajun romance and loved her writing style.

I feel the same, Tante Lulu
I feel the same, Tante Lulu is a hoot. For me, the series wouldn't be anywhere near as good without her.

He had a one night stand
He had a one night stand with the daughter of a fanatic Islamist, and he's still alive to talk about it. And the daughter wasn't honor killed when she was found to be preggers. Talk about needing to suspend disbelief.
